A 70 m² two-bedroom on the 30th floor in Sabaneta, with a wall of glass across the living room and a balcony that looks over the whole south of the valley — brick towers below, the mountains behind them. Inside, an open kitchen with a granite bar and two stools, a deep modular sofa in front of a 65-inch TV, and a hanging chair by the window. The main bedroom has a queen bed, its own bathroom and the same view; the second has a single bed with a pull-out underneath, so the home sleeps four. There is a separate study with a desk and shelves, a second bathroom, a laundry room with a washer, and ceiling fans in both bedrooms. You let yourself in with a smart lock. At ground level the complex carries a pool, a gym, a sauna and a steam room, a social lounge and 24-hour security. Zona Sur mall is a short walk; the Sabaneta metro and the town's plaza are a few minutes away.

Living here

Sabaneta is the small town at the south end of the valley that kept its plaza, its bakeries and its Sunday crowds while the towers went up around it. Home is thirty floors above all of it: from the balcony you see the brick towers of Sabaneta and Envigado run down the valley and the mountains close it off behind. Zona Sur mall is a short walk for the supermarket and the cinema; the Sabaneta metro on Line A puts El Poblado and the rest of Medellín a few stops north; La Romera's forest trails start just above town for the weekends. Downstairs, a pool, a gym and a sauna for the days you stay in.

The space

Seventy square meters on the 30th floor, laid out so the view does the work. The living room runs to a floor-to-ceiling glass wall and the balcony beyond it; the kitchen opens onto the room over a granite bar with two stools.

  • Main bedroom — queen bed, its own bathroom, the same view
  • Second bedroom — single bed with a pull-out underneath, closet
  • Study — desk, shelves and an office chair, separate from the bedrooms
  • Living room — modular sofa, 65-inch TV, hanging chair by the window
  • Kitchen — oven, stove, fridge, air fryer, blender and a French press
  • Laundry room — washer, utility sink and drying rack
  • Ceiling fans in both bedrooms; a floor fan for the living room

The complex

One of the tall brick developments at the south end of Sabaneta, and its shared floors carry more than most: a pool and a jacuzzi, a dry sauna and a steam room, a gym, a social lounge with a kitchen, a coworking corner, a games room, a kids' playground, a pet area and a sports field. Security is 24 hours and the elevators reach the 30th floor.

The neighborhood

Cañaveralejo is the residential edge of Sabaneta: towers, a park, and the Zona Sur mall a short walk away for the supermarket and the cinema. Line A's Sabaneta station puts El Poblado a few stops north; Avenida Las Vegas runs to Envigado in minutes; and the trails of La Romera start just above town.
